While most of Delray Beach was still sleeping this morning, members of The Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach were already reporting for duty at 5:00 AM at our adopted precinct at Veterans Park!
Today, our club is once again participating in Palm Beach County’s Adopt-A-Precinct program. Throughout the day, Kiwanis members are serving as clerks and inspectors—checking in voters, providing directions, and helping keep things running smoothly from before the polls open until after they close.
And there's an added bonus: our work today also serves as a fundraiser for The Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach, with funds earned through the program helping us continue serving children and our community throughout the year. 💙
We love seeing our members get involved, give their time, and take an active role in our community.
Here’s our smiling morning crew—looking remarkably cheerful for people who started their day at 5 AM! 😄☀️

📚✨ We're thrilled to see the Delray Beach Kiwanis Storybook Trail featured in The Coastal Star!
Located at Barwick Park, the Storybook Trail combines literacy, outdoor activity, and family fun in a unique experience designed to inspire a love of reading in children of all ages. Our inaugural book, Pizza Shark: A Fin-tastic Feast by Mike Lowery, is now on display for families to enjoy as they stroll the trail.
This project represents years of collaboration between the City of Delray Beach, Florida Government, and the Kiwanis Club of Delray Beach, all centered around a simple mission: helping children learn, grow, and discover the joy of reading.
A special thank you to Joel Davidson for envisioning and championing this project, along with the Delray Beach Parks & Recreation Department and everyone who helped bring it to life.
🦈📖 We invite everyone to visit the Storybook Trail at Barwick Park and experience it for yourself!
Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and the The Coastal Star article with your friends and family.
